Bird Skulls Talk by Henry Memmott

Join us for a wonderful hour of talking bird skulls with biology teacher Henry Memmott. Before leaving Kirkwall Grammar School for a teaching job in Singapore last year, Henry generously donated his wonderful collection of bird skulls to Stromness Museum and has volunteered to speak with us in person to tell us more about them. Henry will share some of the stories behind the skulls and tell us how bird skulls are used to study bird evolution. We will have some time to explore and compare Henry’s skull collection with the museum bird collection. This event is free but ticketed. Book to avoid disappointment.
